OUT & OUT--AmNEW YORK used this headline for the story about New Jersey's
governor, who all at once announced that his marriage was a sham, that he's gay,
that he put his gay lover on the payroll in a security position he wasn't
qualified for, and that the gov will resign in November.

It's difficult to beat "out and out," that OED has from the 1300s. Should
this "out and out" (meaning "gay and gone") be noted?
