Wilstach is wonderful. I first noticed his work about 12 years ago. David
Shulman and Fred Shapiro both looked at those lists. Comments on Etymology
published some lists in 1992.

WHERE DID BARRY POPIK EAT?--Nowhere. Too cold to walk around NYC. He  had a
day off, so he added more commercial slogans to his web site (Any
suggestions?), ate some Sun Chips, and went to sleep. Waited for the telephone  man.

DOES BARRY POPIK HAVE TELEPHONE/INTERNET SERVICE?--Yes. It must have
happened, the guy told me, that this computer doesn't shut off correctly. AOL  wants
me to update programs, end programs, etc. I also unplugged the computer to
clean it. What that has to do with the phone on the wall, I don't know. He said
that it's all in a loop. Sure. Whatever.

WHERE IS BARRY POPIK'S NEXT TRIP?--I was thinking of taking Jet  Blue to
Florida, eventually to Fort Walton Beach, and checking out stuff at  the Elgin Air
Force Base for "the whole nine yards" and other slang. For after  the
holidays, in January. Any thoughts/suggestions?
