over on the OutIL mailing list, we've been talking about the term "stud
muffin"/"stud-muffin"/"studmuffin", used (by straight women and gay
men) for (yummy as a muffin) good-looking, well-built men. it's easy
to track occurrences back fifteen years or so (just using google), but
those occurrences clearly presuppose familiarity. has anyone traced
the term using the usual sources and tools?
