Virgin Mary image in Grilled Cheese Sandwich (now less OT)

for me & mine, "grilled cheese (sandwich)" has always been:

 - toast the bread, 1 slice per serving
 - optionally, spread a very thin layer of mayonnaise on one side; this
will keep the cheese from soaking into the bread
 - top it with slices of cheese, usu. cheddar or jack
 - sprinkle with paprika
 - put it in the broiler to melt the cheese
