I told a co-worker that my next great New York City restaurant destination 
would be, ahem, Togo's sandwiches. He had inquired about restaurant franchising 
and spoke about the "trombo" stores.
  
Trombo's fine, I said, but I used to play the tuba.
  
It's not in OED. Does the term strictly apply to this combination of
