Tonight (Wed, Sept 29) on Wheel of Fortune, betwixt the political commercials
(I stopped counting after watching the same Kerry ad for the third time)
there was an African-American co-ed from the University of Arkansas who had an
unusual speech pattern that I did not recognize as either Southern or AAVE.
Among other things, she referred to the U of A athletic teams as the /RAzorbicks/.
 Did I hear wrong or is this a common pronunciation?
