OED/HDAS/MW11 have "dex" = "dextroamphetamine" from 1961.

* dexed, ppl. a. 'on dextroamphetamine'

1967 T. SOUTHERN _Red-Dirt Marijuana and Other Tastes_ (1990) 244 I
finished at about ten, dexed, and made it to the office.

* dexed up, ppl. a. 'on dextroamphetamine'

1973 _NME_ 27 Oct. (backpages.com) Finally, he ends up dexed-up and pissed
out of his brain on a rock off Brighton Beach where he achieves some kind
of satori and reconciliation with himself.

* dexed out, ppl. a. 'on dextroamphetamine'

1984 N. STEPHENSON _The Big U_ 116 To us he looked like a strange
dexed-out bird, not running across the front of the hall so much as
vibrating across at low frequency.
