For a bit more-recent kidlore:

Not long after Michael Jackson suffered burns during the shooting of a
Pepsi Cola commercial (when was that?), a bunch of third-graders in
Bernardston, MA taught me the following, which had 'made the rounds' in a
very short time:

I pledge allegiance to the flag,
Michael Jackson is a fag,
Pepsi Cola burnt him up,
Now he's drinking Seven Up.
Seven Up goes out of style,
He'll be drinking Coke awhile.
