"Not a Word" in the August 29, 2005 issue of The New Yorker, at
http://www.newyorker.com/talk/content/articles/050829ta_talk_alford
discusses the entry for entry for Lillian Virginia Mountweazel in the
1975 edition of the New Columbia Encyclopedia and the made-up word
that starts with the letter "e" in the recently published second
edition of the New Oxford American Dictionary (in both cases, put in
to catch copyright infractions).

Will "Mountweazel" now become the category name for such fake
entries? (And then, of course, "Mountweazel" will mutate from a fake
encyclopedia entry into a real dictionary entry!)
