I think that the poor guy painted himself into a semantic corner. He surely
wouldn't have wanted to say, "We like to say that anything can happen.
Nothing's gonna happen with the Giants this year. Uh, I mean ..." It looks
like an excellent example of thinking on one's feet. ;-)
