Micheal is THE example of a truly great player hanging on while in obvious  
decline.  His skills are diminished, and he has lost 2 or 3 steps.  He  has no 
explosion to the hoop, lacks elevation, and too often settles for a fade  away 
jumper.  And, he couldn't guard a bank with a  tank.  In his last stint in 
the league he routinely needed 25 shots to get  15-18 points.  Not a bad point 
total for any other player, but with the  inability to involve other teamates 
and to lift them to a higher level, he  simply is just another wornout 'Nique.  
Too Old, Too Slow, And Too Selfish  to change.  Any team who brought him in 
is either desperate or stupid.  And, with Shaq in the mix--the Heat ain't 
desperate.
