Sturm und Drang eggcorn

Mary Frances Berry of the University of Pennsylvania was a
guest on NPR's "News and Notes" show Tuesday morning.  During
the discussion (about New Orleans and Ray Nagin), a
transcript from ELibrary quotes her as having said:

"As somebody who didn't support Nagin when he first ran, I
think that he has come through markedly well with all the
storm and (unintelligible) in New Orleans and the forces that
he has to contend with. "

What she said was "storm and drang" -- I double-checked the
replay from NPR (and note the guest list described for "News
and Notes" for Tuesday is wrong in the printed description).
