minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Six to 10 anchovies, 4-5 average size raw potatoes, 1-2 yellow onions, 2-4
tablespoons butter, 1 1/2-2 cups cream.

Clean and bone anchovies. Peel and cut potatoes in strips. Peel and slice
onions. Grease a shallow baking dish. Put in one layer of potatoes, the
onions, then anchovies and the remaining potatoes. Dot with butter and sprinkle
with anchovy sauce. Place in medium oven. After ten minutes, pour on a little of
the cream and return to oven. After another ten minutes, pour on rest of the
cream. Return to oven until ready (45-60 minutes in all). Four to six
servings.
