Johns Hopkins Univ. is named after a founding benefactor, whose name was Johns 
Hopkins.
Strictly speaking, "Krogers" is Kroger (named after a Cincinnati grocer, Barney 
Kroger).  (My father and brother both worked there, and have drummed this into me).
