Hi  Barry: 
Thanks for  this.  Dave Wondrich found  this same mention last year, and I’m 
attaching the document for your  perusal.  It’s being used in the museum’s 
exhibition. 
Of course this had to  come up just as we were all ready to celebrate the 
200th anniversary of the  cocktail!  But we’re still thinking that it IS the 
birthday of the first  known printed definition of the cocktail, so we’ll carry on 
regardless!
