I don't know when the name became formally orphaned, but when I was a youth in Texas (1960s), we were all aware that the HEB supermarket chain was owned by Mr. H. E. Butts.  There circulated a jocular rumor of a pending merger of HEB with the Pigly Wiggly chain, the combined entity to be known an Wiggly Butts . . . .
