Ben Zimmer quoted the LA Times on "fame-iness". As I said in my newsletter
this week, another coinage is "referenciness", for the quality or nature
of scholarly references that turn out to be bogus or misleading. It was
invented by Ben Goldacre in the Guardian on Monday. He tells me he had
"truthiness" in mind when he coined it.
