"fur bikini"

The fur bikini was of course a Raquel Welch trademark ("1,000,000 BC"
movie, with dinosaurs). "Fur bikini" was a standard expression among the
science-fiction costume-players and Society of Creative Anachronism types
ca. 1980 IIRC, meaning a piece of clothing, viz., a fur bikini, like on Ms.
Welch. Only a few of the ladies actually wore this item, at least in my
experience. I don't think there was a double-entendre in this milieu; maybe
this literal item was the model for the joke-metaphor.
