Readex announced today that it will begin adding two new series of fully
searchable newspapers to America's Historical Newspapers in May 2007.

The two new collections -- Early American Newspapers, Series 4,
1756-1922 and Early American Newspapers, Series 5, 1777-1922 -- will
expand the coverage of America's Historical Newspapers by adding more
than 200 new titles from all 50 states, including titles of unique
historical importance, regional weeklies and big-city dailies.

Together, these two new series feature such significant American
newspapers as The Liberator, Albany Evening Journal, Baltimore American
and Commercial Advertiser, Gaceta de Texas, Hokubei Jiji, Nevada
Territorial Enterprise, New Orleans Daily Creole, North Star, Siwinowe
Kesibwi and more.

In addition, both new series offer regional weeklies and dailies from
across the nation to highlight important themes and eras in American
history, including the New York Herald, Boston Press and Post, Chicago
Inter Ocean, Cincinnati Daily Gazette, Connecticut Herald, Hawaiian
Gazette, Idaho Recorder, Milwaukee Journal of Commerce, Mississippi Free
Trader, Nebraska Press, New York Spectator, Oregon Herald, Philadelphia
Public Ledger, South Carolina Gazette and many others.

Future series will expand the coverage of America's Historical
Newspapers beyond 1922 to provide coverage from 1690 to 1980.
