Well, they aren't exactly "in" New Orleans, but ProQuest has "Band Concert
Today"  with "New Orleans Jazz" in Washington Post Aug 10, 1917. NY Times
Display Ad 9 on Apr 20, 1917 "Twp Orchestras and the New Orleans Jazz Band"
