Another kind of buddy

"Butt buddy" is, I think, new to me, but "bum buddy" I've heard --
it's a term that was common enough when I was in high school, and was
always used to refer rather slangingly about some friendship or
mutually supportive relationship, not literally sexual but
connotatively as good as. It could include something like "since
you're the principal's bum buddy..."
