At 22:50 GMT - 2 minutes after I saw this email - the text had already been
changed to "Study: House cat descendant..." Maybe we jump too quickly on
simple mistakes? I have corrected, and/or tried to correct, CNN.com mistakes
at least 50 times. Gave up.

Just seen on CNN.com: headline, "Study: House cat ancestor of Middle
Eastern wildcat"--but the text says: "Garfield, Morris and the
Aristocats get the fame, but look to the origins of today's furry
felines and you find ... a Middle Easter wildcat." A caption under a
photo reads "The domestic house car can trace its ancestry to a
Middle Eastern wildcat." Perhaps the headline was meant to read
"House cat ancestor Middle Eastern wildcat".
