alpha-moms

A psychologist was on _Fox & Friends_ this a.m discussing "alpha-moms," which everybody including me thought was a neologism.  It means a nagging, controlling, perfectionist mother. There are danger signs to watch for.

  Google Groups has it back to 1994 as applied to dogs in a less behavior-based sense.
