Query: "Let George do it"

This could easily be apochryphal, but there is a story I have heard several times that Pullman porters were called "George" after George Pullman, who invented and built the Pullman sleeping car.

For those of you who cannot hear the name "George" without thinking politics, consider the famous/infamous Pullman strike of 1894.
