I sympathize.

If one says "Anymore do you understand it?"  I would interpret that to mean "now do you understand it?  Focusing on the likelihood that you do.

But if the "anymore" is moved to the end "Do you understand it anymore?  The question is different, focusing on the likelihood that you don't.

Anymore I'm not going to think about this anymore.
