cover dish

I ran into an "ice cream" term I hadn't seen before when I got a flyer
for neighborhood carry-in.  There are over 400k googits for "covered
dish" but about 80k for "cover dish."  I went through the first
hundred, and only about 20 referred to either a casserole or a
casserole dish with a cover.  For most of the rest, "cover" was a
transitive verb, usually part of a recipe direction.
