1983/1984 "the full Monty" antedating

Seeing as how the early-1980's instances of "Full Monty Chippy" and the
like are reckoned to be of possible relevance to the origin of "full
monty", the following might conceivably be germane also.
In Timeri Murari's _The New Savages_ (1975, apparently, shown by snippet
at G-Books), there is the "Monty Carlo Chippy", presumably in Liverpool.
I guess it's easy to speculate (rightly or not) as to why "Monte Carlo"
might go with "chips". One can Google an apparent real-world Liverpool
"Monte Carlo Chippy".
Maybe just a coinkydink.
Somebody with better resources than mine might check further.
