JSTOR ... JSTOR -- I'm (technically) an Independent Scholar, and they don't
*allow us access to JSTOR.

The articles seem to have been collected in _Language of the underworld_
(1981), and York University Library (which I recently joined at the cost of
£50 per annum, but no database access) has that, so when I get there again
...
Dunno how I missed coming on him so long -- seems pretty central from the
description of his work from the comments I've garnered in the last few
days, so I'm looking forward to reading more.
