"When we're done, she'll be as strong or stronger as the last time
she went to sea," Quentin Snediker, director of the shipyard here,
said during a restoration tour. "So why not sail her?"

"Here" is the Mystic Seaport museum, restoring an 1841 American
wooden whaler, the last relic of its kind.
