That's not quite what the OED says, but close.  It allows nymphomania
to men, and says of "satyriasis" " ' ...Also, synonym for Priapism'
(Syd. Soc. Lex. 1897)".  Apparently it needed to appeal to an
authority.  It also allows for "priapism" "3. Licentiousness,
obscenity; an instance of this. Also fig.: debasement, corruption
(now rare)." with many quotes from 1694 to 1995.
