Thirty-ish black male janitor, barely noticeable Black English accent, said "latticework" as
/la TEES w at rk/

For what it's worth, in the six months the janitor has had his present position (he replaced a white female) this is the first time he encountered latticework, having just helped drag a quantity of the stuff out of sotrage.
