He jumped in the ocean to drown himself, then discovered it was very cold, leading him to show up at Alan's house shivering and also giving him the excuse to strip down naked (blipped out just enough for the TV audience, but not for every woman in the cast, and Alan himself, to ooh, aah, and pant over Ashton Kutcher's…er…qualifications. It doesn't seem likely that suicide will continue to be a viable option for the Kutcher character.
