1947 citing in Archie Comic of "butthole." What did it mean?

Has anyone checked out the culinary angle yet RE: Betty?s PRIME vis-a-vis
Archie?s BUTTHOLE? From the pet food site, it seems BEEF BUTT is a meat
packing industry category. The Burleson blog contrasts FILET MIGNON with
BEEF BUTT-HOLES.

it is a prime cut. Mmmm, beef sushi.)
(2) Prime steak vs beef butt-hole. Don Burleson blog (

(Here beef butt-hole sounds like cow intestine.)

Hypothesis #794:  Betty compares the ushering job to filet mignon. Archie
(perfectly innocently) compares it to a hot dog. The goal: track down the
elusive 1940s orthophemistic use of butt-hole (meaning intestinal casing?).
