I searched youtube English videos on “either and neither”
Below are the results from the YouTube tutorials as presented
It Shows that 8 of 10 taught ~ee as standard.  Of these, 2 mentioned that ~ie is optional.  For those 2 that taught ~ie is standard, one said ~ee was optional.

If anyone were to care about a standard US pronunciation, looks like ~eether/~neether is by far the standard.
