Given that *black* people are homophobic to an
unexpected-by-gay-white-people degree and that there is a
strongly-held folk-belief among the black polloi that *all* "sexual
perversions" originate among white people and were forced upon the
thitherto chaste, Kershtan black community by Ole Massa during the
trials and tribulations of slavery, the answer to that question is
less than obvious.

Indeed, that the subject was brought up at all in a black publication,
especially back in the day, is not a good sign.

All say, "How hard it is that we have to die!"---a strange complaint
to come from the mouths of people who have had to live.
