WB: Reminds me of my Swedish Doktorvater (a devout Lutheran) who did just
that, Latin <ti, ci> [tsi] in his Medieval Latin classes. Cf. "Latin
regional pronunciation" in Wikipedia.

Btw, there was also another plural for locus:  loca.
