OMG! = "awe-dropping"

In the video below, Sarah Flanigan in OMG! replaces each "awe" vowel with "ah", even Goldie Hawn's name which becomes ~Haan.  It's like a speech impediment gone viral.  The "awe" phoneme is disappearing, which is making more homophones and the English language less intelligible.  Teachers need to work against it.  US English is fast losing a phoneme.
