Err.. You do realize that e-smoking is not a euphemism, any more than an e-card is a euphemism for a greeting card. E-cigarettes (or 'vaping') are a chemically and physiologically different experience. (not that I've done this, or even seen one).
E-cigarettes do not burn tobacco and do not generate carcinogens. There's no evidence that they pose a serious health risk--at least no more than nicotine gum does. The FDA and other government agencies are going after them because people who use them look like they are smoking, so it would like them to be forbidden just for that reason.
