1888 _Daily Journal and Journal and Tribune_ (Knoxville, Tenn.) 11 May 1 (America's Historical Newspapers)  Mr. McMillan, of Clay, answered that no man but a "hill Billy" didn't know the Hon. John C. Brown, of Giles county, who is an ex-governor of Tennessee.
