Entry in Barnhart Dictionary Companion (Vol. 7.2, c. 1992):
train, n. (u) 1. In the phrase pulling (the or a) train. the act of
several men taking turns having sexual intercourse with the same woman.
Also called playing train. Nonstandard (used in slang contexts dealing with
rape; infrequent)
"If a girl consents to having sex with the member [of a gang] who brought
her, there is the possibility that she-with or without a little 'friendly
persuasion' in the form of booze, dope or covert intimidation-will be shared
sexually among several members, a practice known as 'pulling the train.'"
Bill Taylor, "The professor & the bikers," The Toronto Star [Canada]
(Nexis), June 15, 1991, p H1 ....
(fist note) Pulling train was first recorded in DAS (c. 1967) where it is
attributed to the slang of the Hell's Angels motorcycle gang in California.
