Well, given that _ban_ and _band_ are two - or should that be "to"? Or
"too"? - distinct words with two distinct meanings whose use transcends
mere stylistics, bringing that to the attention of the semi-literate hardly
constitutes evidence of a "prescriptivist" attitude. Or not
