Today's OED WOTD: booze cruise

OED: 1979

Here's a September 24, 1921 in The Judge magazine (page 25):

[Begin]
  The Booze Cruise—"Tell me about
your houseboat cruise."
"When we'd gone about 10 miles
down the river, we tied up at the
bank and one member of the party
located a 'still.'"
  "Well, go on."
"That's the end of my travelogue."
—Birmingham Age-Herald.
[End]

I didn't find the joke in the Birmingham Age-Herald, but I did find it in
five later 1921 newspapers in Chronicling America, but entitled "Brief
Trip", so "The Booze Cruise" may or may not have also been the title in the
Age-Herald.
