Interesting use. I found the quote at about 1:46 in the video at 
http://cnn.it/1Bf0kAx ("Dallas police shooting: Suspect bought van on 
eBay, picked it up from Georgia").

"The A-Side Does Not Stand for 'Always'" (http://bit.ly/1MBIzw5) by 
David Brosnahan talks about the sides of a house:

A-side = alpha side
B-side = bravo side
C-side = Charlie side
D-side = delta side

According to "What do the A-side B-side C-side and D-side mean in 
firefighting?" (http://bit.ly/1HGSrVU), the front of a building is the 
a-side, and the other sides are identified in clockwise order.
