The Oxford English Dictionary has an entry for "goyish" with a first use dated 1959. Your 1955 citation appears to be a legitimate antedating of the OED, although ProQuest has it as far back as 1888 (Jewish Messanger, Apr. 20, 1888, page 1).

Subject: goyisch and possible ADS search problem

The word "goyisch" is used in Chaim Potok's "My Name is Lev Asher"
(1972), as an adjective for goy.

The word does not appear on Wiktionary or the Oxford Dictionary site. It
seems I have gone beyond my quota for Merriam-Webster as I can no longer
search there.

"Goyish" appears italicized in 1955 in "Jewish Frontier," vol. 22
