Whoa! I talked the same way, when I was a kid in East Texas! Since my
mother was in her mid-twenties, already, before we "left out" from the Lone
Star State, she never did stop talking that way. Did you also say "cowl"
for "cow"? Do "dose-t (of salts)" and "highth" also ring a bell?
