CNN newspeople like to say "baked in." This has been noticeable for several
months, usually in phrases like such-and-such "is baked into the cake" or
simply "baked in," i.e., an integral, irremovable part.

Now somebody's saying that a Cruz victory in Indiana was once thought to be
"baked in," i.e., certain.
