This week's New Yorker mentions the "Afrikan Heritage Center" at
Oberlin College.

Ca1970, campus radicals liked to spell "America" as {Amerika} and even
{Amerikkka} to prove its innate Nazi Racism.

So {Afrikan} may not be the wisest choice - though I know it's been
around for a while.
