In fact, "Oh, you guys!" was used by a woman to other women in a
(too-)long-running TV commercial without raising the ire of a single person
anywhere along the sexual spectrum. Furthermore, the Air Force, even before
it broke away from the Army, has always referred to its - or should that be
"their"? - personnel as _airmen_, as is now observable at random times of
day on random TV channels in Air Force recruitment commercials.

If everyone else switched to the unisex "you-all"/"y'all" in traditional
use by Southerners of all racial and ethnic groups and by colored folk
wherever they - or should that be "we"? - may be encountered, y'all
wouldn't be being embroiled in this particular controversy. Y'all see what
I'm saying?
