Diamond’s Ice Bar and Grill is located in the north part of Kihei on Maui and tends to cater to the Kamaʻāina and ex-pats from the mainland.

They have a sign that says:

20% will be added to all tabs walked out on

I’m pretty sure this sort of passive verbal idiom has been discussed here before. I didn’t see anything in a quick search of the archives but either way, it’s a data point.
