Talking heads appear not to receive enough attention in the OED

talking head  n. slang a television presenter or interviewer who is shown
on the screen talking directly in close-up to the camera; frequently
in pl.; (also) in extended use.

I'm a bit puzzled about "interviewer" rather than "interviewee". In
particular, consider this from OUP:

is a talking head
